An evaluation can be a helpful entry point for creating personalized treatment plans to improve our clients´ wellbeing. We connect our clients to specialized therapy services, including individual, group and/or couples therapy.
Our individual and family therapy services include modalities tailored each client´s needs. Our therapy approaches include:
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – helpful in identifying and changing negative thought patterns.
-
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – useful to help individuals manage volatile emotions and patterns of harm and self-sabotage in relationships.
-
Mindfulness – useful to help individuals work on cultivating their ability to stay in the present moment. May incorporate breathing techniques.
-
Structural therapy – useful to work on how family members interact, and changing communication patterns to support healthier relationship dynamics.
-
Milan Systemic Family Therapy –– another useful tool to go beyond one person´s behavior and look at how patterns in close relationships impact one´s behavior.
-
Strategic Therapy –– A useful short-term therapy model that focuses on finding immediate strategies to resolve one´s primary problem.
-
Narrative Therapy –– A technique that helps separate the individual from the problem. By writing one´s story it helps the person identify patterns and values, and more clearly see the qualities they have that can help them take ownership of their life stories and overcome challenges.
-
Transgenerational Therapy –– looks at the repeating belief systems and emotional legacies that are passed down from past generations, as a way of understanding one´s current symptoms.
Other areas of therapeutic focus may include: parenting skills training, anger management, and behavior coaching. We can help clients adjust to life changes, as well as provide treatment for grief and trauma.
