Substance Abuse
Changing Lanes offers compassion-based addiction recovery to encourage and empower individuals to achieve long-term change. Our program is a Level 2 Drug and Alcohol Treatment Education Program approved by the Georgia Department of Community Health. The intensive outpatient substance abuse relapse prevention course runs from 12 to 14 weeks, and includes therapy, along with physical activities. Among the services provided are educational and family support sessions, skills training, relapse prevention, and community reintegration assistance. The aftercare component helps clients plan for their transition out of the program with support via ongoing counseling, job readiness and education, and peer recovery networks. The program serves clients 12 years and older, and assists persons with special needs, such as a co-occuring mental health disorder and/or a physical or cognitive disability. Spanish interpretation services are available.
